Medicaid Service Coordination (MSC)

A Medicaid Service Coordinator works closely with the person with developmental disabilities and their families to assist them in gaining access to necessary services and support. The Service Coordinator serves as an advocate and an agent in promoting a person centered agenda that centers around independence, individuality, inclusion, and productivity. The service coordinator will assist in obtaining the necessary services and support, make referrals, and link and monitor the individual's ongoing services.
